Ironically, this show felt technically proficient but lacked heart. Fighting choreography, songs, and art were all great, but the emotional investment just wasn't there. Also I really dislike the main neo-luddite quest of halting AI evolution rather than stopping their oppression in other ways, incredibly victim blame-y even if AI are the ones in the end that come out on top. A huge aspect to AI was their single mission goal, and that was never overcome or challenged. It was always hinted that they were developing more emotions, but never really followed through. I thought the ending was really good, until the post credits end scene where they ruined it :/
