I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the movie as this kind of thriller genre doesn't usually draw me in. The acting was really good, the twist was great, and the lead actor is D A D D Y. All in all a solid movie!
This movie definitely does not take itself seriously and neither should you. It's campy, the premise is stupid, and the carnage is outrageous. It's honestly pretty funny; the idea of a sloth being a serial killer hinting down sorority girls... Insanity in the best way. Definitely worth a watch for the giggles and absurdity.
Didn't love it, didn't hate it. I think I would ha e enjoyed it more of the comedy and horror ran concurrently together, instead of one then the other. It felt like the movie was building up a corporate drama thriller, then switched to the campy horror and gore. The cast did a great job with their roles, although the "twist" in the story was readily apparent. Paul Rudd is always fun to watch (that man never ages and is still hot!) & Jenna Ortega does angsty teen very well.
All in all, decent movie but I would wait until it streams to give it a shot.
