e12: i expect this is going to be liek a really bad blow up thing later but the "cheating" is actually completely fine. [shoji] and [satchiko] really like each other and the extent of the counter-argument presented is bad even by weaker standards. he doesn't even seem to like nana that much and more just likes the sex, and treats it as an obligation (and everyone around treats the relationship like that too).

e13: ugghghhg its so fucking stupid and sad. like tbh im not as entirely annoyed with the situation bc given the circumstances everyone is acting decently reasonably within the rules of the game theyve been given (shoji wants to maintain both relationships, satchiko is uncomfortable despite loving shoji which is fair, only real person at fault is nana for [the threat of] playing and enforcing the rules). so its not entirely as annoying as it could be, but still disappointing. e14: "i dont like all the manipulative crap that goes along with it" then threating to punch the guy for 'cheating'. but tbh a lil more understandable given the guy was primarily sex motivated w nana for a while so im not excusing the guy and i'd be fine with him getting punched lol. however its p clear that he actually had feelings to satchiko. honestly pretty happy with nana tbh just being like 'i don't want him'. idk maybe thats hypocritical but i didnt think their relationship was very good anyway so im just glad its dissolving and shes not trying to fight to enforce her posessiveness. it would be stupid to drop if it was just the 'betrayal', but there were other issues as well. e?: nana recognizing what [] is using her and doing it anyways is cool dynamic that you dont get to see as frequently in anime e23: nana addressing her possessiveness and insecurities is really cool! in some ways especially bc not romantically but in other ways kinda unfortunate that that aspect of normative romance is not as addressed. e25: e27: big fan of layla and shinichi dynamic, very messy. also takumi x nana where nana is using as crutch. e29: need me a bitch that treats me like nobuo fr fr. also i should mention that the side couple [] and [] is really cool. theyre more mature and sideline commentary reflective and v realistic, just kind doing their own thing and providing good space for pacing. i love that longer series can do more fleshed out characters. their dialogue is really great. e30: just mentioning again, layla and shinichi relationship is really great e33: lmao nana is so dumb e47: appreciated bittersweet kinda open ending, especially nobuo. i'm aware this isn't so much an intentional choice as it is a constraint of source material, but it feels fitting for a series that deals with messy stuff like this. overall: pretty good, liked that it was a more mature anime for the most part. nana is really kinda pathetic tho, but i do kinda appreciate that none of the characters are exactly sympathetic.
