nasse or shuji could have saved the show if the writers didn't put them so much on the backburner it's kinda disappointing in the classic philosophical anime way where they spend a lot of time dwelling reflectively, but all that time is wasted because the protagonist half of the dialectic is entirely wrongheaded and thin.
