RW1: the exposition strategy is kinda weird? where things happen and then they explain how its all connected and makes sense after. which makes the initial watch confusing, which is both a positive and negative. suspenseful and intriguing, but also kinda a cheap way to make it seem more mystery like. rewatching while knowing stuff helps it make sense and is cool to see, but pretty odd storytelling strategy lol after reading the manga: visuals carried the anime so hard, the source material is not very good. changed/added scenes are very welcome in this version.
