i was not expecting it to be even close to this good. reveals and twists felt very earned and thought through, tension solid, personalities well-carved out. solid pacing too. after coming off a few duds this is an extremely refreshing watch. that being said, nothing about it terribly stuck out to me or will stick with me, it just has pretty solid fundamentals. and the real test for ability is what happens next when the story is not within the contained world with established rules. provisional score: 73?
